Election results, breakups, disappointments and this dark, divided place we call our country; I found the only way to break free from the fog was to focus on hope and joy. The “Brooklyn Summer” series reflects the joys of summer: long warm days of sunshine, dirty kids, suntans from beach days at Jacob Riis Park, popsicles and playing so intensely that sleep comes the second one’s head hits the pillow.
